Daniel Ricciardo, Infiniti Red Bull’s new driver, has joined forces with Infiniti to help budding engineers get closer to dream jobs in Formula One. From the 19th March applications are open for the Infiniti Performance Engineering Academy.

The Academy was announced last year, and will see the three top candidates undertake a 12 month engineering assignment with four-time consecutive Formula One Constructors’ World Champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing at their UK base. The candidates will be playing a key technical role within the team, working directly with Infiniti’s road car engineers. There are plenty of perks on offer, from free accommodation in the UK, a full salary, an Infiniti company car and a behind the scenes access at the British Grand Prix.

The programme is open to final year engineering undergraduates studying all over the world, from the UK, to China, to Mexico and beyond.

Christian Horner, Team Principle, Infiniti Red Bull Racing, has stated: ‘What Infiniti is offering engineering students around the world is something quite unique. Infiniti Red Bull Racing has always been committed to working with the very best people in the industry and this has been a key part to our achievements over recent years. We’re fully supportive of this fantastic global initiative and we look forward to working with the budding new talent that comes from it.

Applications run from March 19th to April 11th, so get stuck in at Infinity Engineering.
