The Times has released its 2014 list of Top 50 Employees for women, and many of the names might very well surprise you, from GE, to National Grid, to Enterprise Rent-A-Car. For an extensive list, click here.
Along with the list, there’s a fascinating supplement, available on the ‘opportunity now’ website as a free download. This includes articles from The Times newspaper, focussing on unconscious bias and discrimination in the workplace, to unsettling reports about widespread abuse at work, and others on the benefits of diversity. There’re also plenty of companies proud to be top employers for women, with pages from companies such as ASDA and Shell.
For those of you involved in progressive organisations, you can sign up for entry details of the 2015 list via the opportunity now website (link above).
